Overview
Akane Rin is a limited S-rank Lakshana character from Phase II of 1.4, using Liquid Arcs; her official tag is Main DPS. She fights with an electric guitar and sound blades: her Redirect Skill Rhythm Wave applies Overtone with a tap to hit a single target, or opens a Reverb Field with a hold to hit groups, and once she has 30 String Energy she can cast her enhanced skill, Synced Resonance. Her passive Perfect Pitch reapplies Remora every 3 seconds after your team's first Remora, so she fits best in Remora teams with a Cosmos ally. Global/Taiwan: October 21, 2026 after maintenance to November 11, 05:59 (UTC+8). Mainland China: October 15 to November 5, 05:59. Do not mix the two schedules.

Analysis
Her damage loop is: apply Overtone or Reverb Field, build String Energy with Basic Attacks, then cast Synced Resonance at 30. Overtone relays her Basic Attacks to one target from range, while Reverb Field relays them to every enemy inside; the two share a cooldown, and a new one replaces the old. Perfect Pitch only activates after a Cosmos teammate (for example Esper Zero or Shinku) triggers Remora (Lakshana + Cosmos) once, while the Lakshana character Hathor can extend Remora; after that, she applies Remora automatically every 3 seconds. Applying Remora again to a target already under Remora adds Lakshana damage equal to 150% ATK, and the longer the target's Remora has left, the higher the bonus (up to +160%). Her Ultimate has two parts, and the second one must be cast manually.

Stringblade
A four-hit Lakshana combo whose hits build String Energy. She also has the plunge attack Stage Dive (area damage on landing) and the Perfect Counter Featherblade Reverb after a perfect dodge.
String Energy
Capped at 30. Basic Attack hits build it, and Synced Resonance spends 30 when it hits. Overtone and Reverb Field are her two field states, and only one can exist at a time.
Rhythm Wave
Tap: attaches Overtone to the target for 25 seconds, and her Basic Attacks are relayed to that target from range (relay ratio +32.5%). Hold: opens a Reverb Field for 25 seconds, and her Basic Attacks are relayed once to every enemy inside (DMG +36%). Tap and hold share a cooldown, and a new state replaces the old one.
Synced Resonance
Can be cast with 30 String Energy while Overtone or Reverb Field is active: a heavy single-target hit with Overtone, area damage with Reverb Field. It only spends String Energy when it hits, has no cooldown of its own and does not refresh the state's duration; she is invincible and cannot be interrupted while casting it.
Sonic Boom
The first part deals multiple hits to enemies in an area and puts her into Solo Cadenza for 20 seconds (higher interruption resistance). After 4 seconds she can manually cast the enhanced second part; if it is not used before the state ends, it is lost.
Altered Chord
On swap-in she sweeps the strings again, dealing one hit of Lakshana damage and triggering reactions.
Perfect Pitch
Activates after your team triggers Remora for the first time and lasts until you leave combat: from then on, every 3 seconds Overtone (single target) or Reverb Field (every enemy inside) applies Remora. When your team applies Remora again to a target already under Remora, it deals extra Lakshana damage equal to 150% ATK, plus 20% for each second of Remora the target has left, up to +160%; at most once per second per target.
Starlit Anthem
After she casts her Ultimate, ATK +20% for 20 seconds; triggering it again only refreshes the duration and does not stack.

After-School Tabs: when Synced Resonance hits, she restores HP equal to 1000% of her base ATK and gains DEF +50% and interruption resistance +60% for 15 seconds. Survival-oriented.
Window Capo: enemies affected by Overtone or Reverb Field get Lakshana RES -12%. Guides agree it is the top priority.
Shade Capsules: tap Overtone ratio +1000%; Reverb Field radius +30%, and casting it with a hold pulls enemies together.
Headphone Static: after she casts Synced Resonance, Crit DMG +30% for 15 seconds.
Rehearsal Click: the Basic Attack relay ratio rises to 64% with Overtone and 90% with Reverb Field. Most guides rank it second or third.
Front-Row Supernova: Starlit Anthem also lets her attacks ignore 16% DEF.
