Tier List
Based on the current community consensus, NTE characters are split into three tiers — T0, T1 and T2. Tap any character for full details.
Top tier
The strongest units this patch — high performance and flexibility, worth prioritising your resources on.
Great
Reliable in real combat. Can carry as a core pick in the teams they fit.
Usable
Handles most general content. Good as filler or to round out specific teams.
Unrated
No settled community rating yet. We'll add them as more data comes in.
How to read the tier list
Tiers reflect a character's overall strength and flexibility at typical investment — they're not absolute. NTE is a 4-unit team game built around elemental reactions and role coverage, so a T1 unit that fills a needed role is often more useful in practice than forcing in a T0 unit whose role overlaps. Cover your team's roles first, then chase raw numbers.
FAQ
Who is the best character in NTE right now? +
On this community list the T0 (top) tier is Nanally, Chiz, Esper Zero and Sakiri. But "best" shifts with your team and the content you run — a T1 unit in the right team can perform at top level too.
Should I always pull T0 characters? +
Not necessarily. T0 units are broadly strong, but NTE limited banners have no off-rate "losses" and the pity carries over — so when resources are tight, prioritise a character you like that also fills a gap in your team.
Are A-rank characters worth building? +
Yes. Many A-rank units have practical roles, are easy to obtain and cheap to build. Haniel, for example, is a T1 healer and a key pick for free-to-play and low-spend accounts.
How often is the tier list updated? +
It updates around new patches, balance changes and new character releases. NTE is still early, so ratings move a lot — read it alongside the latest version notes.
Ratings above are player-compiled; actual power and mechanics follow the live game. Let us know if anything looks clearly off for the current version.
