Neverness to Everness (NTE) Endgame Guide: Anomaly Express (Beyond the Rails) 20 Stops, Realm of Greed & 4-Player Pink Paws Co-op

A deep dive into Neverness to Everness (NTE) endgame content — the Anomaly Express (Beyond the Rails) 20-stop structure, biweekly 2,300 Crystals rewards, the Realm of Greed / Mammon weekly boss, Anomaly Pilgrimage, and the full Pink Paws Heist 4-player co-op walkthrough.

Published: 2026/05/24

Key answer: NTE’s “abyss” is called the Anomaly Express / Beyond the Rails, with 20 stops (10 permanent + 10 biweekly-reset), and a perfect full clear every two weeks yields 2,300 Crystals — making it the single largest Crystal source in the endgame. Other endgame modes: the Realm of Greed (weekly home Fons), the Anomaly Pilgrimage (3 weekly Esper upgrade material runs), the Anomaly Hunt (7 world bosses for free S-rank Arcs), and the Pink Paws Heist (the only 4-player co-op). NTE has no PvP.

Once you finish the main story, NTE’s true “progression endgame” really begins. This article breaks down all the endgame content — the Anomaly Express, Realm of Greed, Anomaly Pilgrimage, world bosses, and Pink Paws co-op — in full, so you know which instances to run each week / every two weeks and what resources they give.

1. Anomaly Express (Beyond the Rails)

Role: NTE’s “abyss”

GameAbyssNTE equivalent
Genshin ImpactSpiral AbyssBeyond the Rails
Zenless Zone ZeroShiyu DefenseBeyond the Rails
Honkai: Star RailForgotten HallBeyond the Rails

Players also simply call it the “abyss” or “tower climb,” with the alias “timed abyss” (referring to the Fracture Circle portion).

Unlock process

  1. Unlock the Miguel District via the main story, then head to the Beyond the Rails Anomaly Zone in the north of the map
  2. Find the stationmaster Miss Levi (a talking owl) and select “About Anomaly Express”
  3. Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control (BAC) and apply for boarding permission with the Daily Safety Department Receptionist
  4. The appraiser, Mr. Bag, will handle the follow-up paperwork
  5. Once prepared, head back to the BAC to take a 10-question written test
  6. After passing, return to Levi to collect your ticket

Side quest extra rewards: 60 Crystals, Hunter EXP, Fons, Guides, Dyes, Beetle Coins

⚠️ Hunter Level 24 or above is recommended before attempting, or your power will be badly insufficient.

20-stop structure

Prime CirclePrime Circle (permanent)10 stops, one-time rewardsNo reset
Fracture CircleFracture Circle (timed)10 stops, higher difficultyResets every 14 days (biweekly) on version update

Some English sources translate Prime / Fracture inconsistently — defer to the in-game UI.

Combat rules

  • Every stop is a timed battle with a 600-second (10-minute) limit
  • Stops 1-5: you can clear just the Inbound OR Outbound half on its own and claim rewards
  • Stops 6-10: you must clear both Inbound + Outbound, and you cannot reuse the same character ⚠️
  • Each stop can award up to 3 seals based on its “Platform Seal” clear conditions

6-7ClearWithin 8:00Within 6:00

Shadowquill Buff system

At the “Otherworld Supply Stop” you can spend Shadowquill to activate skill buffs:

  • Each stop can equip 2 skill effects (one Inbound + one Outbound)
  • Skills cost 50-200 Shadowquill and can be fully refunded to re-spec
  • Low cost: passive buffs (e.g. +8% Anima damage)
  • High cost: active buffs (e.g. team-wide ATK +20% for 60 seconds)
  • Skills only apply at that stop and do not carry over between stops
  • Save them for the time-consuming Outbound Boss fights at Stop 6 onward

⭐ Reward list (what F2P players care about most)

Prime Circle (permanent):

  • Every 3 seals = 160 Crystals + Train Log
  • The first 15 seals give 60 Train Log per set, the next 15 give 80 Train Log per set
  • Perfect full clear: 1,600 Crystals + 700 Train Log

Fracture Circle (reset):

  • The first 24 seals give 75 Crystals per 3
  • The 27th and 30th seal milestones give 50 Crystals each
  • Perfect full clear: 700 Crystals + 840 Train Log

Train Log uses

  • Exchange location: the mall’s “Otherworld Salvage Station
  • Exchangeable for: Psyche Shards (for awakening), S-rank Arc enhancement modules, Elite Hunter Guides, Chaotic Dyes, and rotating limited cosmetics
  • Exchange priority: Psyche Shards first (rotating stock may take several cycles to return)

NTE’s currently single largest source of Crystals: a full-star clear every two weeks = 2,300 Crystals14 pulls, which is extremely important for F2P players.

Wave-clear team (for mobs — heavy AoE, grouping, fast swaps):

CharacterRole
NanallyMain DPS, Genesis reaction core, strong burst
Esper Zero (protagonist)Rail-switching to trigger Genesis reactions
JiuyuanGrouping + Sub-DPS reaping
SakiriGeneral support, grouping, crowd control

Boss team (single-target high damage, stagger break, sustain):

CharacterRole
BaicangMain DPS on-field damage
DaffodillStagger break cap -10% (stacks twice), Sub-DPS
SakiriDoT damage-amp support (+25% damage to each DoT)
HanielA-rank god-tier support, team-wide ATK buff

Community team templates (final floor of the timed abyss):

  • First half: Hotori + Chiz + Baicang/Mint/Butler + Haniel
  • Second half: Nanally + Esper Zero + Jiuyuan + Sakiri

Per-stop strategy notes

  • Stops 1-5: mostly mobs — the Wave team uses AoE characters to clear fast, and pushing for 3★ isn’t hard
  • Stop 6 onward: Inbound (wave clear) and Outbound (Boss) are separated
    • For Boss fights, pick single-target, high-stagger-break characters and avoid bringing an AoE Main DPS
    • Save high-cost active Shadowquill skills for the Outbound Boss
  • Stops 7-10 (deep layers): elemental weakness display is stricter, so be sure to build an elemental team matching the Boss’s weakness. The three-star threshold is only 5 minutes, so you need to plan your damage rotation precisely
  • Multiplayer: Beyond the Rails does not support co-op — it’s a pure solo challenge

2. Realm of Greed

Unlock steps

  1. Unlock the Ebisu Auction House after Chapter 3
  2. Buy the Gluttonous Eye at the auction house
  3. Complete the “Yarn Ball or Fons” Anomaly commission
  4. Place the Blind Mammon plushie furniture in your home
  5. Interact to enter the “Realm of Greed”

Gameplay

  • A single-target Boss fight against Mammon inside your home
  • Time limit of about 1 minute 30 seconds
  • Two win paths:
    • Survive until the timer ends → settle for weekly Fons
    • Kill it directly → settle immediately, with identical rewards
  • Fons reward = damage dealt × Blind Mammon level × difficulty tier (all three multiplied)

Mechanics highlights

  • Plushie level is upgraded via the Ebisu Auction House’s Covetous Coins
  • Higher level = more Fons reward (Lv 1 ≈ 45,000; Lv 5 ≈ 48,000)
  • Endless high-tier mode: when Mammon’s HP drops to 30%, it enters an Enraged state (moves faster, with an extra ring of earthquake waves)
  • Mammon’s resistance is lowest against Lakshana at 16%, with all other elements at 20%
  • Recommended: a Lakshana main team (Nanally, Mint)

Reset cycle

Server reset every Monday (along with the Anomaly Pilgrimage, City Vitality, and the auction house).

⚠ The specific layer names and mechanics of the “6-layer high-difficulty version” (mentioned in the quest description) have no complete list in public community data — defer to the in-game UI.

3. Anomaly Pilgrimage

Basic mechanics

  • 3 reward claims per account per week (shared! not 3 times per boss)
  • Each run costs 60 Character Pixels (character pixels / stamina)
  • Platform box: Material Selection Box (player’s choice), the most flexible

2 rotating bosses

Higher difficulty gives better materials, but the 3-run cap is unchanged.

Main output: Esper upgrade materials

This is the chokepoint resource for upgrading character skills, so the 3 weekly runs are absolutely not to be skipped. For detailed boss analysis, see the Complete Anomaly Boss Bestiary.

Respawn mechanics

  • Respawns at fixed open-world locations after a cooldown (not weekly-locked)
  • Each can be challenged repeatedly, but the S-rank Arc is mostly a guaranteed 1-copy first-kill drop
  • Other repeat kills give: character progression materials, Hunter EXP

For detailed boss strategies, see the Complete Anomaly Boss Bestiary.

5. Pink Paws Heist — the only 4-player co-op

Why it’s special

NTE has no PvP — no cross-server arena or player-vs-player. The Pink Paws Heist is the only 4-player co-op endgame content, and also the only biweekly-reset co-op instance.

Mechanics

  • 2-4 player co-op (also playable solo)
  • Power is normalized: regardless of investment, everyone starts on the same footing — a pure skill test
  • Three phases: Infiltration → Hacking/Theft → Extraction
  • 12-minute limit per run
  • Three bank floors: G/L1 (offices) → L2 (mezzanine) → L3 (vault)
  • Flying CCTV Anomalies lock doors and trigger combat
  • Orange-glow Anomalies = more drops

⭐ Rewards

  • Fons: biweekly cap of 1,000,000
  • Paw-Paw Coins: exchange with Chiz at the bank
    • Each “Current” objective completed = 500 Paw-Paw Coins
    • Exchange for limited Crystals, vehicles, outfits, accessories, and rare modules (exclusive!)
  • Pink Paw Credit milestones: Fons, progression materials

Advanced content

  • The main vault requires an Advanced Clearance Card I + Chaotic Core, which means repeated runs to farm the drops
  • The final challenge is Mammon in the vault (LG3): solo takes 8+ minutes, a 3-4 player group only 4 minutes

Cross-platform

PS5, PC, mobile, and Mac are all cross-platform with shared accounts.

FAQ

Where is NTE's "abyss"? Is it the same thing as Genshin's Spiral Abyss? +

Yes. NTE's abyss is called the "Anomaly Express / Beyond the Rails," commonly known in the English community as the Ghost Train. It is functionally equivalent to Genshin's Spiral Abyss, Zenless Zone Zero's Shiyu Defense, and Honkai: Star Rail's Forgotten Hall. It has 20 Stops total, split into a permanent 10 stops (Prime Circle) + a timed 10 stops (Fracture Circle, biweekly reset). A perfect full clear every two weeks yields 2,300 Crystals — making it the single largest source of Crystals in all of NTE's endgame.

How do you unlock the Anomaly Express? +

5 steps: (1) Unlock the Miguel District via the main story, then head to the Beyond the Rails Anomaly Zone in the north of the map; (2) Find the stationmaster Miss Levi (a talking owl) and select "About Anomaly Express"; (3) Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control (BAC) and apply for boarding permission with the Daily Safety Department Receptionist; (4) The appraiser, Mr. Bag, will handle the follow-up paperwork; (5) Once prepared, head back to the BAC to take a 10-question written test (on the Ghost Train's rules), then return to Levi to collect your ticket after passing. The side quest grants an extra 60 Crystals. Hunter Level 24+ is recommended before attempting.

Why do you need two teams after Stop 6? +

Stops 1-5: you can clear just the Inbound (wave clear) OR Outbound (Boss) half on its own and still claim rewards. Stops 6-10: you must clear both Inbound + Outbound, and you cannot reuse the same character, so you must prepare two teams (8 distinct characters total). Use AoE characters for the Wave-clear team; use single-target high-damage + stagger-breaking characters for the Boss team. The underlying investment requirement is high, so newcomers will struggle to hit full stars.

Is the Realm of Greed the same system as the Anomaly Express? +

No, they're completely different. The Anomaly Express is a large endgame instance (in the north of the map) that produces Crystals + Train Logs; the Realm of Greed is a fight against the single boss Mammon inside your own home, accessed via: Blind Mammon plushie furniture → interact to enter. The time limit is only 1 minute 30 seconds, and it mainly produces Fons (weekly reset). Mammon's resistance is lowest against Lakshana at 16%, so Nanally and Mint are recommended to lead.

Does NTE have PvP? What co-op modes are there? +

NTE has no PvP (no player-vs-player). The only 4-player co-op endgame content is the Pink Paws Heist — 2-4 player co-op (also playable solo), with power normalized (regardless of investment, everyone starts on the same footing — a pure skill test). Three phases: Infiltration → Hacking/Theft → Extraction, with a 12-minute limit per run. Biweekly cap of 1,000,000 Fons + exclusive Paw-Paw Coins to exchange for Crystals, vehicles, and outfits. It's cross-platform (PS5 + PC + mobile + Mac).

Endgame content compiled from public sources including ZeroLuck, Power Up Gaming, AllThings. How, Icy Veins, GameWith, Game8, PowerPyx, TheGamesWiki, Genshin Builds, Respawn First, Game Rant, Gematsu, gurugamer, NTE Guide, 4Gamers, HN, Bahamut, and Entertainment Taxi. Some mechanics (the Realm of Greed’s specific 6-layer names, Serenetti’s 6-layer Overload/Perfect Rhythm details) have no complete list in public community data — defer to the in-game UI for the actual values. The 1.1 “Dreamwander Corridor” content is expected to be verified after it launches on 2026/06/03.
