NTE 1.4 Update: Blackbird and Akane Rin Banners, Dates and New Areas

Neverness to Everness version 1.4 launched globally on September 30 with two new limited S-rank characters: Blackbird (Psyche) in Phase I, alongside a Lacrimosa rerun, and Akane Rin (Lakshana) in Phase II from October 21. Both are now live, and their skills, signature Arcs and teams are covered in their build guides.

Blackbird

Blackbird is the Phase I limited S-rank character of version 1.4, with the Psyche element; her banner ended on October 21 at 05:59 (UTC+8). Skills, awakenings, signature Arc and teams are in the Blackbird Build Guide, and basic data is on the Blackbird character page.

Akane Rin

Akane Rin is the Phase II limited S-rank character of version 1.4, a Lakshana character using Liquid Arcs. On the global and Taiwan servers, her Dazzling Star banner runs from October 21 after maintenance to November 11, 05:59 (UTC+8), and her signature Arc, Far Side of the Moon, is available from the Celestial Special Arc banner during the same period. Once your team has triggered Remora, her passive reapplies it every 3 seconds, so she works best with a Cosmos ally. New areas and related guides

The announced additions include new story content, Pukaland, the City Tycoon Puka Membership Program, Porsche 911 Turbo (930), and Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package. These are upcoming additions, not currently obtainable content. Costs, requirements and walkthroughs need verification after release.

How to prepare

• Check your pity and resources: use the gacha pity guide to see where your pity stands and how many pulls you still need.
• Farm general materials first: prepare common upgrade materials with the material farming guide. Character-specific materials follow official announcements or in-game data after release.
• Redeem codes: the September 16 livestream codes have expired. See active NTE codes for what still works.

Announced banners and Arc programs

Character boards and Arc programs are separate. October 21 is an announced Arc changeover, not proof of every server’s character-banner cutoff. The Japanese recap lists Blackbird and a Lacrimosa rerun in the first half, then Akane Rin. Confirm exact times for your server.

Global event dates

Dates are from the global preview, not precise opening or closing times. They are not mainland China schedules. Unverified localized names retain their English reference names.

Puka Membership Program reward highlights

These are progression rewards, not automatic login gifts. Check unlock requirements, reset rules and redemption limits in-game; do not count selection boxes as characters already owned.

Other announced changes

The Witch main episode, To Us, Back Then spinoff and St. Arbor location anomaly; multiplayer volleyball, drone follow-camera and one-tap bond gifting. The new Porsche vehicles come from Mystery Boxes, not direct free event gifts.
