November 6, 2026: Elyms opens on the global servers on November 11. This guide is based on data from the November 5 launch on the mainland China server, cross-checked against several guides. Skill and banner names are reference names until the official English notice and will be updated if the in-game names differ. Some sites still show test-server values, so every difference we found is noted below.
Elyms is a limited S-rank Cosmos character from Phase 1 of Version 1.5, using Solid Arcs, and the lieutenant of E.T.D. Squad Six at the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Her role covers Instant Cycle, DMG boosts and burst, and she fights by operating her phone, the Dreamworn Terminal. Her standout feature is Connection Strength: its three tiers (Weak, Medium and Strong) change the ratios of her Basic Attacks, her Ultimate and her off-field coordinated attacks.
Banner and Role
Android Dreams
Global servers: November 11, 2026 after maintenance to December 2, 05:59 (UTC+8). Her signature Arc, Echoes on Hold, is in the Echoes Special Arc banner during the same period. The mainland China notice lists Mint, Edgar and Adler as the featured A-rank characters; that server runs from November 5 to November 26, 05:59, so do not mix the two schedules. The limited rerun in the same phase is Shinku. Limited banners share S-rank pity, and you are guaranteed the current limited S-rank within 90 pulls.
Banner names are reference names for now and will be checked once the official English notice is out.
She fits two kinds of team best: Shinku teams, which make full use of her Cosmos DMG bonus, and Akane Rin teams, which want steady Remora. The rules for Charge and Remora are in the Esper Cycle guide.
Skills and Mechanics
Connection Strength
Elyms’s own combat state, with three tiers: Weak, Medium and Strong Connection. She starts every fight at Weak Connection. The stronger the connection, the higher the ratios of her Ultimate and coordinated attacks. Casting her Ultimate or leaving combat resets it to Weak Connection.
Basic Attacks
- Instant Glitch: her Basic Attack at Weak Connection, up to five hits of Cosmos damage. After the final hit, Intermittent Existence becomes available for a short time.
- Interference: at Weak Connection, hold Basic Attack during Instant Glitch to trigger it.
- Crosstalk: her Basic Attack at Medium or Strong Connection, up to three hits. After the final hit, Goodbye to You becomes available for a short time.
Redirect Skills
- Base Redirect Skill (no confirmed English name yet): deals Cosmos damage to targets in an area and fully refills her Cycle gauge. This is her Instant Cycle.
- Intermittent Existence: raises her connection from Weak to Medium and grants the Optical Illusion buff.
- Goodbye to You: spends all current Optical Illusion stacks, and more stacks mean a higher ratio. At Medium Connection, it then raises her to Strong Connection.
Support Skill: I’m Here
Deals Cosmos damage when she swaps in. At Weak Connection, it raises her to Medium Connection and grants Optical Illusion.
Ultimate: Do You Get Deja Vu
The ratio depends on her Connection Strength at the moment of casting, and the connection resets to Weak afterward. After casting, allies gain ATK based on Elyms’s Base ATK and higher Follow-up Attack DMG for 20 seconds. Casting it again only refreshes the duration.
Most sources list the ATK bonus as 20% of her Base ATK. The Follow-up Attack DMG bonus appears as both +10% and +20%, which may depend on skill level, so the in-game text is final.
The Ultimate has a single-target form and an area form:
- At Weak Connection, it is always the area form.
- At Medium and Strong Connection, it switches automatically based on how many enemies the latest Intermittent Existence, Goodbye to You or Support Skill detected.
So against a single boss, try to keep only the boss in range when you raise her connection.
On-the-Line and Her Follow-up Attack
After her Ultimate she enters On-the-Line. While this state lasts and she is off-field, she automatically adds a coordinated attack. Its form and ratio follow the Ultimate you just cast, and its damage counts as Follow-up Attack DMG. The state ends when the attacks run out, and casting her Ultimate again early resets it.
Passives
- Charge boost: when your on-field character gains Ultimate energy, the whole team gets Cosmos DMG +3.75% for 30 seconds, up to 8 stacks (+30% in total). Triggering it again refreshes the duration.
- Remora boost: when any team member applies Remora, Elyms applies Remora again to the same target 7.5 seconds later. This can trigger at most once every 7 seconds, and the extra application does not trigger itself.
- Second passive: her own Crit DMG +10%.
City Abilities
In City Logistics you can assign her as a logistics assistant, which raises drivers’ order satisfaction and the cap on partner drivers. She also reduces the collectibles you need when trading for furniture at the Going, Going, Gone! Collection Cabinet. If you leave her idle on the character screen, she sometimes says hello and hands you a small gift, once a day.
Rotation
- Swap in, finish the five-hit Basic Attack and follow with Intermittent Existence to reach Medium Connection (her Support Skill can raise it as well).
- Finish the three-hit enhanced Basic Attack and follow with Goodbye to You to reach Strong Connection.
- Cast her Ultimate at Strong Connection to buff your team’s ATK and enter On-the-Line.
- Use her base Redirect Skill to refill the Cycle gauge, then swap to your main DPS to trigger an Instant Cycle.
- She keeps attacking from off-field. Swap back when her energy is full and repeat.
Awakenings and Resonance
Awakenings can be chosen in any order. Each extra copy adds one slot, up to 6, and a Resonance tier unlocks at 3 and at 6 awakenings. The table follows the live data from the mainland China server; the advice column draws on Kamigame and Chinese-language community opinion.
| Awakening | Key effect | Advice |
|---|---|---|
| A1 | After her Ultimate, team Crit DMG +10% for each Optical Illusion stack she spent beforehand (20 seconds) | High priority |
| A2 | Ultimate ratio +30%; Goodbye to You ignores 5% DEF per stack spent | Medium |
| A3 | Gains 3 Optical Illusion stacks when her connection rises from Medium to Strong; the stack cap becomes 4 | High priority, works with A1, A2 and A6 |
| A4 | While she is on the team and alive, team Crit DMG +20% | Top priority |
| A5 | Base Redirect Skill ratio +100%; Cycle gauge at 100 on entering combat (once per battle) | Low |
| A6 | After her Ultimate, her own Follow-up Attack DMG +25% per stack spent (20 seconds) | Medium |
Test-server data has A4 lasting 20 seconds after her Ultimate, while the live data makes it permanent. If the in-game text differs, go with the game.
Resonance 3: Basic Attack, Redirect Skill and Ultimate levels +1. If she is at Weak Connection when she casts her Support Skill or Intermittent Existence, she goes straight to Strong Connection, triggering the upgrade effects in order, and can cast Goodbye to You immediately. This shortens her loop a lot, so players with the budget tend to consider it.
Resonance 6: while she is on the team and alive, the team’s damage ignores 12% of the target’s RES for all elements. When the final hit of Goodbye to You lands after spending Optical Illusion, it adds one more hit of Cosmos damage. Test-server data listed coordinated attack ratio +30% here, and some sites have not updated yet.
Signature Arc and Alternatives
Echoes on Hold
Elyms’s limited S-rank Solid signature Arc, only available from the Echoes Special Arc banner. Level 80: 570 base ATK and 24% Crit Rate. At M1: ATK +15%; after 3 Follow-up Attack hits following her Ultimate, the team ignores 12% DEF and she ignores another 10% for 20 seconds; after a Redirect Skill, the team ignores 8% Cosmos RES for 20 seconds. Both effects are active the moment you enter combat. At max refinement it gives ATK +30%, DEF ignore +20% (another +20% for her) and Cosmos RES ignore 20%.
Alternative Arcs
- Blow up the Crowd: raises the on-field character’s ATK, which suits keeping her mostly off-field.
- Day Off: level 80: 512 base ATK and 33% Energy Recharge, with ATK +30% at M1. Her energy fills faster, so her buffs stay up more often.
- The Rain That Shook the World: raises Redirect Skill and Ultimate Cosmos DMG, for players who want her to deal more damage herself.
- Free option: the B-rank First Step to Success has an ATK substat and gives ATK +12% after a Redirect Skill.
Cartridges and Stats
Sites differ mainly on whether to lean toward support or damage:
- Lost Radiance: 2 pieces: Cosmos DMG +10%; 4 pieces: damage ignores 25% DEF for 20 seconds after her Ultimate. Farm it in the Clock Tricks Rabbit Hole in New Herland District. Most guides list it.
- Speedy Hedgehog: 2 pieces: Energy Recharge +12%; 4 pieces: team ATK +15% for 20 seconds after her Ultimate (does not stack). If someone on the team already wears it, use Lost Radiance instead.
- Cartridge main stat: ATK% > Cosmos DMG > Crit. On Charge or Blossom teams you can prioritize Cycle Intensity.
- Substats: ATK% (or Cycle Intensity) > Crit Rate = Crit DMG.
- Skill order: Ultimate > Redirect Skill > Support Skill > Basic Attack.
The ATK she gives allies is based on her Base ATK, so ATK% from cartridges and substats does not raise that buff. It only raises her own damage.
Materials
| Use | Material | Amount | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ascension | Tear of the Sea | 86 | Anomaly Hunt boss Sea Prisoner (New Herland District) |
| Ascension and skills | Fading / Blurred / Chaos Silhouette | Ascension 17 / 18 / 15; with skills 57 / 58 / 79 | Common materials; the thugs at the Miguel District construction site are easy to farm |
| Skills | Nestling’s Longing → Dove’s Flutter → The Olive Branch | 40 / 42 / 65 | Houdinii’s Schemes, stage Beware of the Doves (Rabbit Hole, Miguel District) |
| Weekly boss | Hollowflower Seed | 35 | New 1.5 Anomaly Pilgrimage boss Amber Broodmother; shares the 3 weekly runs with other weekly bosses |
| Level | Elite Hunter Guide | 325 (to level 80) | Vitality stages |
Amounts are the totals for ascension and skills, excluding Arcs. Hollowflower Seeds can only be farmed after the update, so save your weekly boss runs for the week of November 11. Amber Broodmother unlocks after you finish the main story chapter Fogden Game. “Beware of the Doves” is a descriptive reference name for the stage. Prepare everything else with the routes in the material farming guide.
Teams and Pull Advice
Shinku Charge team: Shinku + Elyms + Iroi + Akane Rin. The most consistent recommendation across sites. Shinku (Cosmos) stays on-field and takes full advantage of Elyms’s Cosmos DMG bonus. Iroi (Anima) pairs with Cosmos to create Blossom flowers, and Akane Rin (Lakshana) pairs with Cosmos to keep Remora going, which chains into Charge. Without Akane Rin, use Hathor.
Akane Rin Remora team: Akane Rin + Blackbird + Elyms + Iroi. Akane Rin is the main DPS, Blackbird (Psyche) forms Stain with her, and Elyms handles Instant Cycle and buffs while her passive adds an extra Remora. For an all-in damage version, swap Blackbird for Haniel.
Double-Lakshana burst team: Chaos + Blackbird + Elyms + Hathor. It has a high damage ceiling but no healer, so it suits players who trust their execution. If you need sustain, swap Hathor for Iroi.
Follow-up team: Nanally + Elyms + Iroi + Hotori or Jiuyuan. This one makes use of her Follow-up Attack DMG bonus, and guides recommend either fourth member.
Pull advice: the major tier lists had not rated her before the global release, so the following is community opinion. Like the protagonist, Esper Zero, she has Instant Cycle, and she adds team buffs and off-field damage on top, so she helps most if you already own Shinku or Akane Rin. Others see her as a Cosmos-focused support whose value for Akane Rin stays limited at low awakenings. If you also want Exe, the main DPS arriving on December 2, work out your pulls with the gacha pity guide first, then decide on her signature Arc.

FAQ
When is Elyms available? +
Global servers: November 11, 2026 after maintenance until December 2, 05:59 (UTC+8). She is the Phase 1 limited banner of Version 1.5, Android Dreams, and her signature Arc, Echoes on Hold, runs at the same time in the Echoes Special Arc banner. The mainland China server opened on November 5 and runs until November 26, 05:59. Do not mix the two schedules.
Is Elyms a support or a DPS? +
Mainly a support. Her Redirect Skill refills the Cycle gauge for an Instant Cycle, her Ultimate gives allies ATK and Follow-up Attack DMG, and her passive strengthens Charge and Remora. Her Connection Strength loop and off-field coordinated attacks still deal some damage, but most of her value lies in the team buffs.
Which Elyms awakening should I take first? +
Kamigame ranks A4 first (team Crit DMG +20% while she is on the team and alive), followed by A1 and A3. Chinese-language community advice also often points to A1, A3 and A4 for a support build. Awakenings can be chosen in any order.
What should I farm for Elyms? +
Ascension uses 86 Tear of the Sea from the Sea Prisoner. Skill materials are Nestling's Longing → Dove's Flutter → The Olive Branch from Houdinii's Schemes. The weekly boss material is 35 Hollowflower Seeds from Amber Broodmother, a new Anomaly Pilgrimage boss in 1.5, so you can only farm it after the update.
